The folk-protest patriarch Pete Seeger is chronicled in this documentary that features interviews with him and admirers including Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie and Peter, Paul and Mary. Director Jim Brown follows up on "The Weavers: Wasn't That a Time," which centered on a farewell performance by Seeger's former group. This time, the focus is on Seeger's solo influence and his blacklisting during the McCarthy era. DVD extras include deleted footage and five short films on such topics as playing banjo and making your own steel drum.
