A new survey shows: Driving while talking on a cell phone is dangerous! Wait, you already knew that? Well, how about this:
According to a new survey from Progressive Insurance, 90 percent of respondents admit to talking on their cell phones while driving alone in their cars. Forty six percent of respondents say they've swerved into another lane while driving and talking. Forty one percent say they've speeded up while performing those two tasks at once. And, 21 percent report that they've cut another driver off.
The survey also showed that the typical cell phone yakker/driver is a man (61 percent) and most are between the ages of 18 and 34 (71 percent). We wonder what percent have gotten tickets.
